Youth Fleet Captains’ success on the National and Regional Circuit.

Congratulations to Craig on finishing his first full season on the National 4.7 circuit.

Out of 24 sailors who qualified for the series Craig finished a very credible 14^th.

In the Derbyshire Youth Series Craig finished 3^rd following the final event at Swarkestone Sailing Club on 14th October. This is the second year that Craig has competed on the Derbyshire Youth circuit and in 2005 he finished 9^th. Craig had set his sites on finishing the 2006 series in the top 5.

2006 has been a hectic year and Mum and especially Dad are looking forward to spending some time over the winter at home. Dad hopes to get some sailing in before next years Derbyshire Youth and 4.7 ladder events start.

Craig would like to say thanks to everyone at the sailing club for their support over the past year.

Craig also hopes to see more of our own youth fleet out on the Derbyshire Youth circuit in 2007 and maybe participating in some Open meetings.
